No Kings Day - October 18
• No Kings https://www.nokings.org/ is a national day of mass mobilization in response to Trump’s increasing authoritarianism —dismantling healthcare for millions, sending troops to American cities to “fight crime,” disappearing citizens and non-citizens, and suppressing voter rights.
• Register for and attend a No Kings event in San Rafael, 10:30 a.m.–12:00 noon, or Point Reyes Station, 11:30 a.m.–1:00.p.m. Show up to create the largest national non-violent protest in American history.
• This isn’t about preaching to the choir. It’s about growing the resistance movement and changing the current direction of our country.
• These protest rallies are no-host events. Ad hoc groups of citizen volunteers are facilitating these opportunities for Marin residents to peacefully and safely assemble and exercise their First Amendment rights.
• A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. No weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should be brought to events.
• All participants agree to assume 100% responsibility for their own safety, conduct and well-being.
